Moles are highly pigmented cells that are grouped together, of different shapes and sizes, their appearance occurs in any area of the body. They usually appear in the first 20 years of life or at birth. For many, moles are small marks that identify us and mark our personality; however, there are some that, on the contrary, overshadow our beauty or detract from the harmony of our features.

For cases in which moles do not favor, there is a solution, thanks to technological advances that have occurred over time today it is possible to make them disappear with the help of the laser.

This procedure can be performed on any person who wants to remove one or more moles in any part of their body, as long as they are not deep or there is no possibility of them growing inside the body.

Mole removal consists of vaporizing and cauterizing the mole with the help of the laser, thus avoiding the possibility of bleeding or the appearance of scars. The process is very simple, first local or topical anesthesia is applied as needed. After this is done, the moles will be removed with the help of the laser, the procedure takes between 5 to 10 minutes depending on the size and shape of the mole.

The risk of scarring is minimal.

In most cases patients present a level 1 pain, from 1 to 10 with 1 being the least amount of pain and 10 being the most.

The removal of moles with laser lasts between 5 to 10 minutes with each mole, depending on the size and thickness of the mole, however in one session several moles can be removed.

In most cases of laser mole removal, topical anesthesia is used, however there are some exceptions where local anesthesia is used.

This is an outpatient procedure, that is, it does not require hospitalization.

Recovery and results of this procedure are immediate. It is a non-invasive procedure.

The recommendations after the removal of one or more moles with laser are the use of sunscreen in the area, not to expose the area to sunlight or UVA rays, and the application of cream in the treated area.
